Basic Life Skills

For some students transitions to new experiences can be rough.  The Basic Life Skills program provides early interventions so students are able to overcome road blocks to educational objectives.

Who we serve:

  • Elementary school students attending the seven parochial schools in Waterbury

How the program works:

  • Referrals are made by school personnel.
  • Students meet in a peer group setting.
  • All discussion within the group is considered confidential.
  • Children are taught life, social, anger management, assertiveness, and problem solving skills by a licensed, masters level clinician.

To make a referral, call: (203) 756-7287, ext 358
